Calming your Mind Body and Soul

We have all been there; get in from work tense irritable, snappy.
Or just purely feel this way for another reason.

I find by taking myself off into a quiet space for a minimum of 15 minutes and listening to beautiful angelic music helps.
You can listen to whatever music which makes you happy but to quiet one’s self both in mind and body it would need to be calming music.
First close your eyes and try and empty your mind.
By thinking of your favourite place or simply imagining you’re in a beautiful garden where there may be flowers and the colours are so magnificent. Imagine there to be a beautiful blue sky and the sun shining down on you. Not too hot and not too cold just right.
Imagine the slightest of warm breezes brushing gently past you.
Take a deep breath filling your stomach like a balloon and breathe out of the mouth.
Doing this breathing exercise a couple of times I find calms me right down.
You could then take yourself off to a lake or stream or even imagine yourself on some sandy beach with the most beautiful bluest sea you have ever seen.

And find yourself a nice place to sit or lie down and enjoy the scenery around you.

What ever you decide to visualise take time for yourself.

This is known as meditation.

You don't even have to go off to a quiet room to do it.
Just by sitting on a bench in a park listening to the wind blow through the trees and the birds singing,
absorbing what Mother Earth has to offer. Taking in her beauty this too can be a calming relaxing experience.

It’s all about taking time out for yourself
we all need to recharge in order to be able to deal with what life has to offer us.
